Caratteristiche

L’alimentatore del disco fornisce l’alimentazione operativa per l’unità disco Hewlett·Packard 7900A

Il potere del disco fornisce tre alimentazioni a tensione continua regolate e costanti, due alimentatori a tensione continua non regolati (+24 e -24 volt) e tensione alternata per azionare i motori a corrente alternata del disco. 

I tre alimentatori regolati (+5, + 12 e -12 volt) utilizzano la limitazione della corrente foldback per la protezione da sovraccarico.
